Registered Charity

Our mission is to strengthen our community by helping people develop independence, skills, and social connections, ensuring everyone has the support and opportunity to lead a fulfilling life.

The TCCA aims to develop new projects and provide support to our community’s most deprived areas by working with government bodies and local NGOs, and by addressing local development needs.

We aim to make a positive difference in people's lives, both now and in the future, while also supporting the broader community. You can find our complete charitable goals and details in our memorandum and articles of association, which are available for anyone to review at the TCCA office.

We follow a comprehensive governance policy when making decisions and managing expenditures. The Board of Trustees shares responsibility for overseeing the organisation's operations and financial activities.

To maintain transparency, we undergo inspections by organisations such as the CQC, Your Value, Pre-viable, and Cache. We also comply with standards set by PQASSO, Investors in People, Investors in Communities, Locality, and Hackney Health. Alongside our main trustees’ meetings, we occasionally appoint sub-committees, which currently include Finance, Homecare, Property, Festival, and Staffing.

Our financial accounts are subject to comprehensive audits conducted by professional auditors, rather than to an Independent Evaluation. Click here to view our reports.
