Turkish Cypriot Home care was established in 1993 and has continued to provide culturally, linguistically, and religiously sensitive care for nearly 30 years. We provide care to the elderly and to people with disabilities, ensuring that individuals can continue to live in their own homes independently, and in a dignified manner whilst maintaining their safety. TCCA Home care currently works within the Hackney, Islington, Haringey, Enfield, NHS, CHC and Waltham Forest boroughs, and has several private clients. As with previous years, we see a continuation in the need for palliative care.

Our care provision relates to:

Personal Care Assistance: Support with daily hygiene routines, dressing, grooming, and maintaining dignity.
Specialised Domiciliary Care: Tailored care services delivered in the comfort and familiarity of your home.
Meal Preparation and Dietary Support: Help with planning, preparing, and serving meals tailored to dietary needs.
Companionship and Sitting Services: Providing emotional support, conversation, and a friendly presence to combat loneliness.
Post-Hospital Discharge Support: Screenings, health assessments, and wellness programs.
Social Care Packages: Collaborating with social services to create tailored care plans for individual needs.
Medication Management: Support with medication reminders, administration, and prescription collection.
Mobility and Transfer Assistance: Helping clients move around safely, including support with walking aids or wheelchairs.
Respite Care for Families: Short-term care to relieve family caregivers.
Light Domestic Duties: Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying for a safe, comfortable home.
Shopping and Errands: Assisting with grocery shopping, prescription collection, and the completion of essential errands.
Night Care Services: Overnight care and supervision to ensure safety and peace of mind for clients and families.
Palliative and End-of-Life Care: Offering empathetic support and high-quality care to individuals and their families during challenging times.

Our care staff complete an initial induction training before starting work, followed by an assortment of trainings such as Medication, Safe Guarding, COSHH, Challenging Behaviour, Communication, Dementia and Mental Health, Duty of Care, Equality and Diversity, Fire Safety, Fluid and Nutrition, Food Safety, Health and Safety, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Moving and Repositioning, Peg and Pump Feed, Recording Reporting and Confidentiality, Tissue Viability and Person Centre Care and Dignity.
